If you know American rapper, lyricist and singer Nicki Minaj, you must not have missed that her husband, Kenneth Petty, who has been convicted twelve times (including rape), has spent 7 years in the cold for murder since 2006, and then it was under control for another 5 years. The brutal act took place in 2002 in New York, when Petty allegedly attacked a member of a rival gang by shooting him several times in the stomach. Then he got into his group’s car and drove away. But before the affected man died, he was able to identify Petty from the photographs. But to make sure Petty doesn’t have enough tricks up his sleeve, he currently is is serving a sentence for “forgetting” to register as a sex offender in California. He was granted three years of probation, one year of house arrest and a fine.

Antron Singleton aka Big Lurch

All of Los Angeles has been rocked by the brutal act of American rap singer Antron Singleton, aka Big Lurch. But there are two versions of the story, which nevertheless always have only one victim. Some foreign sources claim that in 2002 the heavily addicted Singleton went to a friend’s home for the psychiatric drug PCP, but there was only his girlfriend, 21-year-old Tynisha Ysais. Other sources claim that Ysais was a girlfriend of the rapper himself and that they engaged in drugs together at home.

Whatever it was, the musician himself subsequently refused to admit other events. In Rauschi he attacked the girl with a knife, literally opened her chest and then bit her bowels. Then he ran completely naked through the streets, where the police secured him and the paramedics took him to the hospital. The investigators did not have much work because, among other things, pieces of the girl’s flesh were found in the stomach of the rapper. The court then sent him to life in prison with no possibility of release in 2003.

Gucci Mane and Snoop Dogg were also charged with the murder, but in both cases the authorities acquitted them for lack of evidence and acknowledgment that it was self-defense.

Radric Delantic Davis aka Gucci Mane

One of the toughest rap representatives, Radric Delantic Davis, known as Gucci Mane, ran into trouble in 2005 when a group of masked gunmen broke into his Atlanta home. The rapper and his friends started shooting the robbers, one of them died. Subsequently, it turned out that the victim was a close friend of rapper Young Jeezy, who is not in love with Gucci.

Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. aka Snoop Dogg

The gang was also involved in the case of Cordozar Calvin Broadus, known as Snoop Dogg. In 1993, Snoop’s then bodyguard, McKinley Lee, shot and killed one of the members of a rival group in Los Angeles. This would have happened while they were traveling by car, when they had to stop due to a man on the road. But after a while, the man was rejected by a rival gang member, Phillip Woldermariam, who pointed a gun at Snoop Dogg. Lee acted immediately and shot the person. But Woldermariam unfortunately died.

In the same year, after the MTV Video Music Awards, the two participants went out and the rapper even wrote the song “Murder Was The Case”, which was even short film form. Their trial began in 1995 and a year later they were acquitted. They were defended by lawyer Johnnie Lee Cochran, who represented, for example, Michael Jackson or OJ Simpson.
