Sean “Diddy” Combs, the rapper and music mogul known for launching the careers of some of the biggest stars in recent years, is now embroiled in a series of civil lawsuits. These lawsuits allege him of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and rape. The 54-year-old artist, formerly known as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, and several other names, is facing a troubling “era” in his life.

At the March 25th raid, federal agents from US Homeland Security conducted searches of Combs’ residences in Los Angeles and Miami. These searches arrived in the wake of numerous allegations brought against him.

All the accusations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs:

Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura

One of the earliest lawsuits came from R&B singer Cassie, full name Casandra Ventura. In 2023, Cassie filed a lawsuit alleging that Combs trafficked, raped, and beat her over the course of 10 years. The lawsuit revealed that the abuse began early in their relationship shortly after Combs had signed her to his label in 2005 when she was just 19 and he was 37. Cassie claimed that Combs raped her in her Los Angeles home in 2018 while she was attempting to end their relationship. The lawsuit was settled a day after it was filed for an undisclosed amount of money. Both parties clarified that the settlement did not constitute an admission of wrongdoing.

Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones

The most recent lawsuit, filed in February 2024 by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, accuses Combs of subjecting him to unwanted advances, sexual harassment, and coerced relations with hired sex workers. The lawsuit also alleges that Combs hosted sex-trafficking parties, involving underage women and illegal drugs, which raised questions about the behavior of record label executives. Prince Harry, however, is not implicated in any wrongdoing or attendance at these parties. Combs’ attorney dismissed the lawsuit’s claims as “reckless name-dropping” and baseless.

Joie Dickerson-Neal

In November 2023, Joie Dickerson-Neal filed a lawsuit alleging that Combs drugged, sexually assaulted, and secretly filmed her during her time as a college student in 1991. She also claimed that colleagues discouraged her from reporting the incidents due to potential retaliation from Combs.

Additional Allegations

Since November, three more women have come forward with lawsuits alleging sexual assaults by Combs, two of whom claim they were minors at the time of the alleged incidents.

Combs Responds to the Allegations

Throughout these proceedings, Combs has vehemently denied all the allegations and stated that he will fight for the truth, his name, and his family. Combs considers the accusations “sickening” and believes his accusers are motivated by financial gain. His legal team maintains that the claims are false.

Combs’ lawyers affirm that they possess compelling and incontrovertible evidence that contradicts the allegations made by the plaintiffs. They are determined to address these outlandish claims in court and take appropriate action against those responsible.
