The shoe is a remake of a classic Nike Air Max from 1997 with several biblical references to the devil. There are only 666 pairs of these shoes and they are all individually numbered. There is also a biblical text about Satan falling like lightning from heaven embroidered on the side of the shoe. A print of a pentagram can be seen on the bottom of the shoe.

The design of the shoe matches the mood from the music video of Lil Nas X’s new single Montero. In this he seduces the devil with a lap dance. Following the video clip and the new sneaker, Lil Nas X has come under fire. Not all of his fans can think of the diabolical references. ‘A ticket to hell’, is how one fan describes the couple.
