The 28-year-old singer was stabbed to death backstage at the Once Upon a Time festival on Saturday. The festival which was immediately canceled as a result of this tragedy.
The US rap world has been in mourning since Saturday after the tragic death of American rapper Drakeo the Ruler, stabbed to death on the sidelines of the Once Upon a Time festival in Los Angeles.
The facts happened around 8:30 p.m., when the rapper was backstage at the event. According to the site TMZ, a brawl broke out backstage for reasons yet to be determined, in which the rapper was stabbed to death.
Urgently rushed to a Los Angeles hospital, Drakeo died moments later from his injuries. The first elements of the investigation indicate that the young man was stabbed in the neck but the investigations are continuing.
Following the facts, the organizers immediately closed the festival which was to welcome headliners like Snoop Dogg or even 50 Cent. Snoop Dogg who also reacted in a long post he posted on his Twitter account, sending his condolences to the rapper’s family.
The American rapper who explained via his press release that he was in his dressing room when he was informed that stab wounds had been exchanged during a brawl behind the scenes. Snoop Dogg who immediately left the scene following the tragedy.
