Rapper ansis publishes a video clip of the song “Duck” / Article / LSM.lv

Rapper ansis has released a video version of the award-winning album “Great Art” (2020) for the song “Duck”, in which rapper rolands če and violinist Kristīne Balanas participate, the musician’s representatives informed.

ansis is a rapper and hip-hop music producer from Ķemeri; one of the members of the associations “Dirty Deal Audio”, “PKI” and “Kreisais Krasts”. He has been fascinated with rap since 2001, but he gained more recognition after the album “Balzams” (2017, “Dirty Loops”) awarded with the “Golden Microphone” and the hit “Earth Hour” (2018) together with Kristīne Pāži and Kaspars Anson. Anša’s latest album “Great Art” (2020, “Dirty Loops”) at the recent Music Record of the Year Award “Golden Microphone 2021” ceremony awarded with two saucers, winning both the title of the best domestic hip-hop music recording of the year and the title of the best album of the year, which the rap recording received for the first time in Latvia.

rolands če is a rapper, songwriter and producer from talsi, who has been involved in music for more than ten years, focusing on it more professionally in 2016. He works as a solo artist in music and has participated in several joint projects, the best known of which is a duo with a colleague, rapper xantikvariat – the last joint album of both “Cheese Plate 2” was nominated for the “Golden Microphone 2019” award. Latvian musicians represented by Universal Music Group, the second single “Again Already” released in cooperation with the publishing house, entered the list of “Golden Microphone” nominations among the best music videos of Latvia in 2020.

Violinist Kristīne Balanas has won the third place in the prestigious ARD international music competition, in 2018 she received the Grand Music Award as the best young artist of the year in Latvia. She has been a soloist with several of the world’s leading orchestras (London Philharmonic Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Paris Chamber Orchestra and many more), and has frequently visited the Berlin Philharmonic, Southbank Art Center and Carnegie Hall in New York.
