Rapists of Internship Students at Mapolresta Banjarmasin Turns Out to be Police Recipients of Awards Page all

KOMPAS.com – Bripka Bayu Tamtomo, a police officer who raped an intern at the Mapolresta Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, was officially fired.

In addition, Bayu was also sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison for the actions taken against the victim with the initials VDPS.

Before being involved in the case, it turned out that Bayu was an outstanding police officer.

He had received an award from the Banjarmasin City Government for revealing two cases of drug trafficking.

However, because of his actions that hurt the hearts of the people of Banjarmasin, the award has been revoked.

“For these individuals, I specifically revoke the award, so that there are no unwanted things,” said Banjarmasin Mayor Ibnu Sina, in an official statement received on Sunday (30/1/2022).

He also hopes that there will be no more cases of Polri personnel committing immoral acts like what Bayu did.

“Hopefully the atmosphere in Banjarmasin will be more conducive and hopefully this will be a lesson for other members,” he explained.

Previously, it was reported that Bripka Bayu Tamtomo was dishonorably dismissed for raping an intern at the Banjarmasin Police Headquarters.

In addition, Bayu was also sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison.

However, via social media, the victim said that the verdict was not in accordance with the actions of the perpetrator.

During the dismissal procession, Bayu apologized to the Police and the victims.
