“The so-called global warming is currently manifesting itself in the Balkans in rapid changes in terms of temperatures and precipitation. From winter to summer we have temperatures of the order of minus 22 to plus 44 degrees. The absolute records are around 45 degrees, they are not reached. These phenomena are predicted successfully about 80-90% within 3 to 5 days”, forecaster Petar Yankov told Bulgaria ON AIR.
Up to 28-30 degrees will be the average temperatures along the Black Sea in the upcoming weekends. The temperature of the sea water will be around 25-27 degrees. The wind is weakening and rapid developments of cumulus-rain clouds and precipitation are not expected on Saturday and Sunday. Weekends will be suitable for high mountain tourism, but the outer jacket will be a necessary accessory.
“After Monday, when a cool cloudy wave with precipitation is expected to pass, a gradual increase in temperatures will begin from Tuesday. Daytime temperatures will reach 31-36 degrees. Until Friday, when new precipitation is expected. In the middle of next week, there will be comfortable for the Balkans summer temperatures,” said Yankov.
“At night there were conditions for hailstones, they fell in the Montana region, near Botevgrad, in the east between Razgrad and Shumen. Today the temperatures are dropping, it will be windy. There are conditions for thunderstorms in Dobruja, currently thundering in the Silistra region. Hail will be hard to come by,” said the forecaster.
It became clear from his words that the temperatures are dropping by 10-12 degrees, during the day they will be 23-30 degrees. In the coming days, a gradual rise in temperatures awaits us – between 30 and 35 degrees.
The excitement along the Black Sea coast will weaken and the appearance of a dead excitement is expected. All parents should be very careful about bathing, Yankov warned.
No rain is expected in Greece to help fight the fires, he added. The situation there remains complicated. The strong wind in our country is to a lesser extent in Greece, and in the coming days it will weaken even more.
