After seven years of operations in the country, RapiCredit reached the sum of one million loans granted, most of these emergency loans for people who did not have access to this type of financial solutions.

In the construction of this product, the fintech had to work hard in interpreting the variables appreciated by the sectors of the population it serves, the regulatory framework that accompanies the operation, the structuring of alliances with the banking system and different operators of the financial ecosystem. , strong investments in technology, digital marketing and finally the formation of a highly socially sensitive team.

“We have granted a million credits without a single physical procedure,” said Daniel Materón, CEO of RapiCredit.

Most of the loans that RapiCredit has granted have been through its emergency credit product, specially designed to give a quick response to the applicant, within certain amount limits. However, given the growth, this lending fintech decided to expand its portfolio to other types of products such as Rapiplazo.

With this new credit modality, which aims to solve people’s planned expenses, RapiCredit diversified its portfolio of products according to the demands of its clients. “We asked users what they would value about the company in addition to the emergency credit product that we gave them, and the answer was that we increased the amounts and granted more time,” said Materón.

In addition to technology, the evolution of RapiCredit has been supported by security mechanisms that have been perfected to provide a reliable service to fintech users.

RapiCredit has prevented more than 90,000 fraudulent credit applications thanks to its more than 50 security filters in real time to verify the applicant’s information, as well as the validations of the devices in which the operations are carried out and the data collation before risk centers.
