She still does not regret her choice, says the Flemish in a new episode of Love Check-up. Raphaëlla: “When Matti came in with someone else … I honestly didn’t like it, but I wish Matti. If this makes him happy then he should do it.”
That she is out of the game because of her choice does nothing to her. “I no longer saw the point of getting to know someone else,” she clarifies. “My heart is still with him. I had already had four weeks to open up to Matti, so within two weeks I really couldn’t do that anymore. (…) Sometimes love is letting go and I did.”

When presenter Rijk Hofman asks her how the two could grow apart like this, Raphaëlla does not have to think long. According to the Love Island-babe it has everything to do with a conversation they had just before Casa Amor that was never finished. “He went to Casa Amor with mixed feelings and I stayed behind in the villa with mixed feelings because that was not finished. I think that has had major consequences.”
