– Hello, says the comedian to his followers, before continuing:
– It has obviously been an extraordinary and stressful week. And I thank you very much for your support.
Four women have come forward with allegations of sexual assault and rape. The allegations have recently been laid out in The Times and the Channel 4 documentary ‘Russell Brand: In Plain Sight: Dispatches’.
Brand has previously come out and denied that there is any truth to the claims.
Towards “censorship”
Also in the new video, Brand expresses skepticism about how the case is covered in the media. He says he is happy that the followers are “questioning the case as they have it presented”, but he does not comment on the serious accusations with a single word.
Both the BBC and Channel 4 have announced that they will investigate the serious allegations and what happened during the period Brand worked for them.

The woman is said to have been 16 when a driver in a BBC car allegedly picked her up at school and drove her to the then 30-year-old…
The alleged abuses are said to have taken place in the period 2006 to 2013, while Brand was a presenter for BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4.
Earlier this week, police in London announced that they had received allegations of abuse dating back to 2003.
Brand accuses the British authorities of censoring content on online platforms, and claims that some platforms have given in to the pressure. “Big tech”, i.e. the technology giants, is reviewed in the comedian’s speech.
YouTube decided earlier this week to stop advertising on Brand’s accounts.
Brand announces that he will speak more in a show on the RumbleRumble video platform on Monday.
– Follow me there, because Rumble is committed to freedom of expression, says the British comedian.
Russell Brand got his breakthrough in 2000, hosting a series of shows on MTV. Eventually he also established himself in the United States and Hollywood.
Brand took to the stage with a live show at Wembley Park Theater in London last weekend. The plan was to carry out a number of shows in the future, but on Monday evening the message came that the organizer is canceling the rest of the comedy tour.
Brand was married to Katy Perry (38) from 2010 to 2012. He is remarried and expecting child number three these days.
