Ranking High in Google: “Blind Married: TV Doubts and the Search for Love”

TV Doubts are the trump card in ‘Blind Married’. With the honeymoon behind them and everyday life ahead, the four grooms really look into their hearts for the first time. And that balance is remarkably tepid. “The feeling is not next level,” is said by one person and “there are no feelings” by the other. For IT Team Manager Matthieu, the situation seems to be completely over. “He mainly focuses on our differences.”

It is a telling moment in the seventh episode of ‘Blind Married’. When Matthieu compliments his wife on a weekend in the Ardennes about how many bottles of beer she can carry, her face brightens. “Are you madly in love with me now?” she says around her husband’s neck. But he looks away and smiles faintly that he is “very proud of her”. Not the reaction she had hoped for.

LOOK. How far are Matthieu and Isabelle in terms of intimacy?

Matthieu and Isabelle were shivering through the honeymoon, but it is becoming increasingly clear that there is nothing more to it than a camping spot in the friend zone. “I pay much less physical attention to Isabelle,” admits Matthieu, who explains that he has a hard time with his wife’s unadventurous character. “You want to share passions, otherwise you miss something,” he says. During an interview with psychologist Sarah Hertens, Isabelle says she is “shocked” when she hears “that he mainly focuses on the differences.”

Waiting for signal

And Matthieu is not the only groom who responds tepidly to the question of whether there are feelings for their wives. West Flemish Alexander speaks out for the first time about his graceful Fleur by saying that they have a “comfortable feeling together”, but that “the next level is not there yet” and he “doesn’t have a crystal ball” to to estimate whether this will still happen. However, Fleur says that there is a “physical attraction” and that there are “certainly possibilities” for a long-term relationship.

Emile and Emma sound pretty much the same song. Emma indicates that there is “a tingling sensation”, but that she is “waiting until my husband gives a clear signal”. But Emile is a lot more moderate. “There is no romantic connection yet,” says the seller. “And there are no feelings or anything,” he shakes his head.

The only couple that seems immune to any form of doubt is Brecht and Jolien. The two kiss and cuddle before the experiment, although the most remarkable passage is not Brecht’s serenade to his wife, but a visit to the gymnastics teacher’s apartment. That’s where Jolien came across a special find. “The first thing I saw when I entered Brecht’s room were condoms, he was ashamed,” Jolien laughs. “He said they were dilapidated, but I didn’t check that.”

The return to their daily lives apparently does not stand in the way of the two. During a visit to his family, Brecht even elicited a declaration of love for his wife. Even though she wasn’t there herself. “I’m starting to fall in love,” he admits to his grandfather. “The warm feeling when I see her… They’re starting to become butterflies.” And Jolien also previously indicated that the feelings are correct. So the fairytale between the two continues. Although we still keep our fingers crossed.

Matthieu and Isabelle: friend zone destination

“We want to keep working on it,” says expert Sarah Hertens on the sofa. But the ‘Blind Married’ history shows that the ‘Friendzone’ exit is a one-way street in nine out of ten cases. Matthieu and Isabelle had a nice time in Rhodes, but a relationship is not possible.

Alexander and Fleur: limited opportunities

For six episodes, Alexander was the positivity himself about his wife Fleur. The two West Flemish people seemed to pass the love experiment with flying colors. Only now there appears to be no feelings, let alone love. Fleur seems to be asking questions, but Alexander hopes for “another level” in the relationship. Serious blow to their chances of success, but we will see it happen somewhere.

Emile and Emma: waiting for a sign

Emile has stated several times that he can hardly believe that he is married to such a beautiful lady. But the sales engineer is not in love. And while Emma is just waiting for a sign of love to throw herself completely into it. We still believe in a sign from Emile, albeit less than before.
