On August 3, Rania of Jordan and her husband, King Abdullah II, became grandparents for the first time. Princess Rajwa and Hussein celebrated the birth of their daughter, Iman Bint Al Hussein, as confirmed by the Royal Family in a video posted on the institution’s official account.
Rania herself, one of the most well-known royal figures, has shared a series of photos on her Instagram account in which many of the family members appear welcoming the newborn. “Little Iman. You have a big place in my heart. Our joy at your arrival knows no bounds,” Rania wrote.
The name of the little girl was not chosen at random. Her parents have paid tribute to Princess Iman, the second sister of Crown Prince Hussein. “May Allah bless her and grant her peace,” they wished on the official profile, along with a video in which the eldest son of Rania and Abdullah II prayed in his daughter’s ear.
