‘Vitesse must fear Manhoef’s departure with upcoming million-dollar offer’

Million Manhoef has appeared on the radar of Rangers FC, The Scottish Sun reports. The Scottish top club has been following the Vitesse winger for more than a year and is prepared to make an offer of 2.5 million euros.
Rangers is not the only club that follows Manhoef’s achievements with above-average interest. Leicester City and Preston North End are also said to be interested, according to the aforementioned newspaper.

However, it is Rangers who are leading the race. Trainer Philippe Clement has urged the management of the Scottish club to take over the winger from Vitesse in January.
An important name in the story is Nils Koppen. The Dutchman, who joined from PSV at the beginning of this month and holds the position of Director of Football Recruitment, has underlined Manhoef’s qualities.
Scottish media claim that Vitesse is willing to listen to suitable offers. Manhoef still has a contract until mid-2025 and, according to Transfermarkt, is worth 3.5 million euros.
Manhoef can encounter a lot of old acquaintances from the Eredivisie at Rangers. Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers and Danilo are under contract with the 55-time national champion. Manhoef is reportedly seen as reinforcement for the back position.
Rangers are eight points behind rival Celtic in competition terms. On Saturday the Old Firm ended in a 2-1 win for the green and white. Clement’s team did play two games fewer.
