Range Rover Sport Hybrid Rp. 4.2 M Glides, People Mendang Mending Step Away

PT JLM Auto Indonesia as the sole distributor of Land Rover vehicles in the country officially launches Range Rover Sport Hybrid in Indonesia, Tuesday (17/1/2023). The new vehicle is presented for the upper middle class, not for the middle class.

President Director of PT JLM, Gerry Kertowidjojo confirmed, this car is the first Range Rover Sport series to use a hybrid powered engine. He hopes it can become a new choice for Range Rover Sport fans in Indonesia.

“We are sure that this plug-in hybrid Range Rover Sport will contribute to the national energy transition process, by presenting an attractive cutting-edge alternative for the Indonesian automotive industry,” said Gerry Kertowidjojo through his official statement in Jakarta, quoted on Wednesday (18/1/2023) ).

In appearance or exterior design, the Range Rover Sport Hybrid has not changed much compared to the previous version, which still carries a minimalist style but is still elegant and luxurious.

While the premium impression is also visible on the inside thanks to the use of premium leather seats. In addition, the cabin is also designed with minimal buttons like other new luxury cars.

From the entertainment side, the manufacturer has equipped the new vehicle with MeridianTM 3D Surround Sound System technology which produces clear and even sound quality through 18 speakers and a dual-channel subwoofer.

The Range Rover Sport Hybrid is equipped with a plug-in hybrid engine (PHEV) with a capacity of 2,996 cc with a power output of 510 PS and a maximum speed of 242 km/hour. Meanwhile, accelerating from zero to 100 km/h only takes about 5.4 seconds.

“The available all-wheel drive system provides a balance of control during normal road conditions, and transmits power smoothly to prevent slippage when on challenging terrain,” said Irvino Edwardly as Sales & Marketing Director of PT JLM Auto Indonesia.

The Range Rover Sport Hybrid costs IDR 4.2 billion for the lowest variant and IDR 4.5 billion for the highest variant. Both status off the road aka not including tax.

Irvino ensured that his party had prepared a long warranty period for each new vehicle purchase.

“We will provide benefits to customers in the form of a guaranteed service plan for 5 years, as well as a 3-year warranty or when the car’s kilometers have reached 100,000 km,” said Irvino.
