We valued healthy living, its development and comprehensive recreation, in addition to appreciating the experience and wisdom that older people can transmit to us, a true treasure for our city.”
Among those attending, Carlos Carrasco, a resident of Villa Corazón, expressed his satisfaction, saying: “It is truly wonderful. These are things that must be enjoyed at all times. It is wonderful to be surrounded by adults who really come to have a good time and spread their joy to everyone. I couldn’t be happier.”
For her part, Sandra Alarcón, a member of the Nuestro Tiempo de Vivir Senior Citizens Club, said: “I came with great enthusiasm and joy to enjoy myself with my friends. We met at the Senior Citizens Day Center and we continue to meet up.”
During the day, the Municipality of Rancagua offered training on the programs of the Condominium of Supervised Housing, the Day Center for Senior Citizens and the Office for the Protection of Senior Citizens. In addition, attendees enjoyed activities such as biodanza, karaoke, the presentation of Pablo Castro, Carlos Gardel’s official double; and an outstanding performance by the Banda Piel Morena.
