Description

The first part tells the history of the Ramesside dynasty, starting with the death of the young King Tutankhamun in 1323 BC. BC, which marked the end of the 18th Dynasty. Akhenaten‘s reforms had previously caused confusion and unrest in the country. General Horemheb cleared this up and appointed his right-hand man Paramessou as his successor. His grandson Ramses, who had just been born at the time, became the founder of the dynasty.
