The Rams vs Cardinals of the 2020 season is a critical game on Sunday. If the Cardinals lose to the Rams, their chances of making the playoffs finally end. They currently own an 8-7 record, placing them in third place in the NFC East behind the Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
The Rams have their place for a playoff spot while they await their final seed, which also depends in part on the outcome of their meeting against the Cardinals or a Chicago Bears loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The Rams won’t be in top shape with all of their options Sunday due to some unfortunate injuries.
John will see Wolford for the first time in an NFL game in real life on Sunday. While that’s good news in a normal setting, Week 17 turns out to be the biggest game for the Rams season right now. Jared Goff will be unavailable for action due to a broken thumb suffered in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks.

While Goff has made sure to prepare Wolford for his professional debut, Wolford will continue to enter one of the most intense environments for anyone who calls. The 25-year-old has spent the past two years with the Rams, though he has never received anything outside of the practice team.
This match will simply come down to whoever wants it the most. If the Cardinals lose, their season comes to an end with nothing to show for it.
Kyler Murray is expected to play through his leg injury with a wild card spot on the line. The Rams will also be behind young running backs Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson, so they can’t rescue Wolford on the ground. Murray finds enough holes in the Rams’ defense with his career and short passes to intermediate to reach his first NFL playoffs.
The Cardinals will try to win this match and the Rams with their rookie starting QB will have a difficult task.
