Paris Saint-Germain got it unexpectedly tough in the meeting with Lorient in Ligue 1.

Wednesday’s meeting Lorient was expected to be a transport leg for PSG, but the hosts had completely different plans at the Stade du Moustoir.
The guests from Paris had to settle for one point, and it was only just that Mauricio Pochettino’s stars got something at all.
Mauro Icardi’s equalizer came in overtime in the second half.
40 minutes were played when Thomas Monconduit gave PSG a real cold shower. The Lorient player got the ball from Enzo Le Fe and thumped the ball into the net via the crossbar to make it 1-0.
At the break, injured Sergio Ramos was substituted for his first Ligue 1 match for PSG, but it was anything but a dream debut for the former Real Madrid star.
81 minutes in, Lorient’s Eduardo Alonso received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Four minutes later he got his second yellow for the day after the referee thought the midfielder prevented Terem Moffi from a transfer.
Even with ten men, the guests finally managed to find the equalizer. Achraf Hakimi hit the ball into the box, and Mauro Icardi stabbed in 1-1, which was also the end result.
PSG still have a 13-point lead at the top of Ligue 1, after Marseille also stumbled in their meeting with Reims, which ended 1-1.
