Shelby Lynn is no longer the only one who accuses the lead singer and leader of the German group Rammstein, Till Lindemann, of having drugged her and then sexually assaulted her. Since Friday, the German media have reported that more than ten similar testimonies talk about the “Lindemann System”, according to an article on the front page of the local daily Süddeutsche Zeitung, informs news.ro.

All these young women thus claim that they found themselves in the same situation as Shelby Lynn, an Irish fan of the band Rammstein, who confessed on Twitter at the end of May that she was drugged and assaulted by Till Lindemann, on May 22, during a private party on the occasion of a band concert in Vilnius.

In the investigations carried out by the German press, these victims describe a “system of sexual predators” set up by the singer and the other members of the group that would allow them to take advantage of young women, drugged and/or drunk, by inviting them in the evening, in their booths after the concerts.

In their testimonies, the young women interviewed explained that they were approached by the Rammstein team, either on Instagram or during concerts. Some victims specify that they were asked to send photos of themselves before the event and to be well dressed.

“All the testimonies speak of the same way of acting. One victim said that he was clearly offered a sexual relationship with Till Lindemann during a concert, in exchange for an invitation backstage,” states the German journalist, Daniel Drepper, in the newspaper Libération.

If Shelby Lynn claims that she was interviewed by the Lithuanian authorities, no investigation has been opened so far. On Twitter, Rammstein defended themselves against the accusations against Till Lindemann on Monday.

The group rules out “the possibility that what was proposed (by Shelby Lynn) could happen in our environment.” “We are not aware of any official investigation in this regard,” the band members conclude. This Saturday, the group responded to the other accusations, saying it takes them “very seriously” and condemns “any form of violation of the law.”

Rammstein was founded in Berlin in 1994. The band’s musical style, which the six band members called “tanz-metall”, incorporates elements of industrial metal, electronic music, Neue Deutsche Härte and heavy metal. The lyrics are mostly in German. The band Rammstein, famous for the frequent use of pyrotechnic effects in their concerts, released seven studio albums, which sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. The band performed in Bucharest in 2010 and 2013. The group consists of Christoph Schneider (drums), Richard Z. Kruspe (guitar), Paul Landers (guitar), Till Lindemann (vocals), Oliver Riedel (bass) and Flake Lorenz (keyboards ).
