The group “Rāmi Riti” invites you to the presentation concert of their new album “Zin Dieviņis, zin Laimiņa” this Sunday, July 16 – it will take place on the Dainu Hill of the Turaida Museum Reserve. All new compositions will be performed at the concert, as well as “Rāmi Riti” songs already loved by the audience from previous masterpieces.
The following place was purposely chosen for the album presentation concert – the concert on Dainu kalnis is a dream of the group’s soloist Inese Kozuliņa that has been cherished for several years and has come true.
“It is a place that keeps the spirit of our national song, and since the revival, the song has always gathered people here. The surroundings of Dainu hill, the ancient valley of Gauja, which is saturated with the strength of our people and the message of life, was also a favorite walking place for Dainu’s father, Krišjānis Baron, at the end of his life. “Rāmi Riti’s” music, songs, sound also have a direct connection with Turaida and Gauja Senleja, because it is here that “Rāmi Riti’s” songs are born and created,” says Inese.
The album was created by musicians who have played together for many years – vocalist and songwriter Inese Kozuliņa, percussionist and multi-instrumentalist Mārtiņš Miļevskis (also drummer and composer of the band “Auļi”), flutist Alisa Klimanska, Kalvis Vītols, who complements the group’s sound with sonorous vocals, bagpipes and percussion , as well as the talented Australian Latvian, guitarist Ivars Štubis. The sound of this album has been enriched by three other musicians – cellist Undīne Balode, percussionist Zane Sniķere and singer Jānis Strazdiņš.
