Ramelow shoots against AfD and BSW: “State disintegration” and “elitist club”

Thuringia’s Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow sees the AfD’s tactics as a serious threat to his state. The Wagenknecht alliance is just an “elitist club”.

The Thuringian Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow (Die Linke) sharply criticizes the AfD and its actions in the state parliament in the “Tagesbruch” podcast from t-online. He accuses the party of having already blackmailed parliament and sees these tactics as a “great danger” for his federal state.

The conversation is not just about politics, but also about Ramelow’s upcoming role as a grandfather: In order to relieve his daughter of some work, he has taken in her dog. The 68-year-old is happy about the “new furry snout,” as he explains in the podcast episode. In the conversation he reveals when the grandchild is coming. But of course that is “another challenge in itself.”

The weekend discussion takes place every Saturday morning on t-online’s “Tagesbruch” podcast. In it, t-online editor-in-chief Florian Harms and presenter Lisa Raphael discuss current political issues with prominent guests.
