Rambo-Radler brakes the police, shows stinkefinger – Tirol

After his failed gesture, the cyclist escaped and chased himself with the police. It ended up with a crash – against a patrol car.

Shortly before noon, a police patrol in Innsbruck’s Schützenstraße was forced to brake quickly to avoid a collision with a cyclist. The two-wheel handlebar had previously crossed two stop lines without paying attention to the priority traffic.

Instead of apologizing, the man responded to an “acoustic warning signal from the police patrol” with his arm raised and his finger stinking.

At the latest, however, he should have become aware of his mistake, because the civil patrol identified himself as the police and asked the rabid cyclist to drive over to a petrol station for a check. Instead of obeying the executive’s command, the man jumped on the pedals and cycled away – chased by the patrol car with flashing lights and a secondary tone horn.

As the Tyrolean State Police Directorate reports, the refugee committed “countless traffic violations.” He is said to have circled the protective island several times at an intersection and drove in the opposite direction. In the process, he played a real cat-and-mouse game with the police.

Escape ends with crash against police car

After escaping back to Schützenstraße, however, the cyclist overlooked a second police vehicle in front of him. He crashed his mountain bike against the official vehicle and a policewoman standing next to it.

The officer was slightly injured and minor damage to property occurred. The cyclist was stopped and was arrested until his identity was established.

Driver’s license removed

A driving license could also be found in the detainee, although it should have been revoked due to an earlier offense. Obviously, the requested driver’s license was never given. Once again, the officials did not want the cyclist to be voluntary and collected the driving license on the spot. And now? “An extensive reporting will follow,” said the Tyrolean police.
