Two of the biggest action stars of the 1980s, Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis ended up acting together for the first time only in 2010, in the film ‘The Expendables’. Now, two of the most famous characters played by the actors will share the same screen in all current titles in the franchise Call of Duty. The ‘Action Heroes of the 80s’ event, which brings together Rambo and John McClane, starts on May 20th. Check out the trailer:
Unlike a recent CoD action that brought characters from ‘The Chainsaw Massacre’ and ‘Deadly Games’ to a Halloween event, Rambo and McLane will not be skins. Both characters arrive as unprecedented operators in three titles in the series: ‘Call of Duty: Warzone’, ‘Black Ops Cold War’ and ‘Call of Duty: Mobile’.

Rambo can be purchased in the package of the same name in the stores of ‘Call of Duty: Warzone’ and ‘Black Ops Cold War’. The content brings together, in addition to the legendary operator, two finishing blows, one with its famous bow and arrow; three legendary weapon designs (an assault rifle, ML and a knife).
The ‘Die Hard’ package features John McClane in ‘Call of Duty: Warzone’ and ‘Black Ops Cold War’. The legendary operator comes with finishing blow, legendary weapon designs (tactical rifle, SMT and assault rifle).

In the case of ‘Call of Duty: Mobile’, the two characters will also be available in packs from the in-game store, which can be used in multiplayer and battle royale.
A curious aspect of the promotion of the ‘Action Heroes of the 80s’ event is that Activision did not reveal the look of the character John McClane, unlike Rambo, widely used in the promotional material. I wonder why?
Iconic settings
In Warzone, the map of Verdasnk will have some special changes during the event. The most emblematic is the Nakatomi Plaza building, from ‘Duro de Matar’, which replaces the Transmission Tower and other buildings around it. The building of the film will have optional thematic missions, which can be carried out in the loot and battle royale.
Another addition to the Verdasnk landscape are ten survival camps in honor of ‘Rambo 2’. At these points, players will be able to purchase more powerful weapons and tags from former soldiers. In addition, one of the hangars in the northwest of Verdansk will be converted, during the period, into a CIA outpost so that agents can organize themselves and track the Rambo.
