Ramadan Nights in Sidon: An Unmissable Shining Experience!

Old Sidon is located this year on a wonderful scene that greatly distinguishes it from various other cities during the holy month of Ramadan. However, what makes the matter even sweeter is that these places are now witnessing magical Ramadan nights, as part of the “Saida Ramadan City” activities that the municipality organizes, accompanies and sponsors.


In that ancient city full of originality, artistic and cultural activities abound. Likewise, the ancient alleys and squares of Bab al-Saray and Dahr al-Mir have become a hotbed for tourists who spared no effort to document Ramadan life in the most beautiful cities on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean basin.


With all this, cultural and artistic activities come in all their details. There, the clouds of the crisis fall with joy, love and passion, as evenings come that artists and creators revive with hope, love, art and giving. Indeed, the artist Omaima Al-Khalil and the musician Ziyad Al-Ahmadiyya attended the Debbana Palace in Sidon on a wonderful evening, while the Soap Museum was on a date with the “Oud without Borders” band, and there the aesthetic was also present in all its meanings and details.


What awaits us from evenings?


Today, Saturday, the “Saba Damascene” band will be present in Dahr El-Mir Square, while there will be many activities in the “Hammam Al-Jadeed” in the Old City in the coming days. As for what many are waiting for, the evenings will be launched by the National Fayhaa Choir, led by Maestro Barkiev Taslakian, under the title “Raise the Banners… Sing for the Eid”. The listeners never forget it.


As for tomorrow, Sunday, the “Tajalli Sufi” band will be present in Sidon to revive an evening entitled “Echo”, and it will include masterpieces of Sufi poetry, in the presence of musicians and artists such as Zakaria Al-Omar, Tariq Bushasha, Abdullah Jatal and Ali Al-Sabah.


And next Thursday, Sidon will be on a date with the Lebanese singer Nadine Hassan, as she will perform a musical evening entitled “Rejoice, O My Heart”. As for Friday, the audience will attend a “Lebanese series”, which is an impromptu show by “Hidek Al-Firqa”, which includes “a lot of drama, humor and action.”


On the 14th of April, there will be a poetry evening by the poet Hassan Al-Miqdad and the storyteller Rajaa Bishara, provided that on the 15th of April there will be an artistic station for the artist Ziyad Al-Ahmadiyya with a choir that will present old and new works, all composed by Ziyad.
As for the last concert, it will be for the Palestinian singer Salwa Jaradat. , “it passes by wonder”, “visit me”.
