Article Twenty Two.
From (Series of Articles from the Inspiration of Ramadan 1444).
Equalization and reciprocity: in the Hijaz dialect, it means defense, quarrels, and irritation.
So-and-so cauterizes so-and-so and so-and-so; That is, he defends him, supports him, teases him, and challenges him.
But now it is rarely used in all the dialects of the Arabs. Except for the Sudanese dialect.
What prompted me to this thought was my standing in front of an honorable prophetic hadith in the virtue of Al-Faruq Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and what more virtues Al-Faruq is.
The hadith says that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to Umar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him: (By the One in Whose hand is my soul, Satan never met you in a way but he took a different way than yours). Bukhari and Muslim.
Umar, may God be pleased with him, was afraid of Satan to seduce him and whisper to him, but he was not afraid of him or afraid of him.
It is said that the predators in the forest can distinguish and identify the cowardly, frightened person from others, because of the smell emanating from the victim’s body, as well as from body language and movement, and I saw this on one of the satellite channels and I think it is National Geographic.
It is not a matter of comparison as much as it is an approximation of the scene.
I grew up loving the personality of Al-Faruq, may God be pleased with him, how fond he is to me, in which the firmness of a Muslim, the sincerity of his devotion to God, and his keenness to complete faith are evident. And Sousse, he used to increase the rak’ahs of his tahajjud prayer if he was languishing or drowsy, and he used to do what he intended if it seemed to him that the devil had a hand in it.
For my life, this is the (equivalence) that I meant in my address, and if I forget, I will not forget as long as I live. My grandfather, may God have mercy on him, was with us when we were children.
They cauterized the devil and made him angry.
So we were brought up on that since childhood, and we took him as adults, praise be to God, and how many feelings of contentment surround the heart and conscience whenever you (cause) the devil, and how high you are in your spirit when you triumph for your good over his evil intentions and plots, and how much you reconcile with yourself whenever (you slander and slander) and his whispers and his plots.
And the soul, if accustomed to this, finds it very easy, because taking into account God’s saying that Satan’s plot is in its reality weak:
{…so fight against Satan’s allies. Verily, Satan’s scheming is weak} An-Nisa’ 76
Our Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said:
(If the muezzin gives the call to prayer, Satan turns away and he has husas).
If the call to prayer (the call to prayer) is all this face; How will his condition be with the one who is keen on immunization and ruqyah and is accustomed to reciting the Qur’an?!
Ramadan, beloveds, is a golden opportunity for victory over Satan. Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated from the hadith of Abu Hurairah on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: (When the month of Ramadan begins, the gates of heaven are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained).
If the devils are chained and chained throughout this month; So whatever effort is made to train the soul to obey and teach it (a culture) to triumph over the darkness of disobedience, its fruit will be habituation and making it an inborn nature, and here are the last ten days leaking from our hands like beads of rosary in the hands of a dignified sheikh, may it be for us provision and help, beloved ones.
O Allah, You are forgiveness, You love forgiveness, so forgive us.
And see you in the next article, God willing.
