The season of drama in Ramadan in Egypt witnessed the presentation of dozens of works that competed with each other throughout the month, which focused on women’s issues, social relations and stories of ascension, struggle, and revenge, in stories dominated by action and suspense over its events.
Comedies were also present in the dramatic season, and the stories of most of the series took place within 15 episodes.
And this number of Egyptian series comes, despite the release of 11 other series from Ramadan 2023, for production reasons as well as for lack of time, such as “The Hashashin”, “I forgot the password”, “Warrior”, “One Thousand and One Nights” and others.
Ramadan 2023 brought back some stars to the screen after years of absence, most notably Donia Samir Ghanem, Muhammad Saad, Suheir Ramzy and others.
