Finally, Raden Rama Widya KY, professor of Poltekkes Karya Husada Yogyakarta and Jasmine Calista, student of medical education at the Islamic University of Indonesia, was selected as the winner in the HIV / AIDS Ambassador Selection 2022. The activity carried out since 2022 HIV / The AIDS Ambassador Foundation in Sleman City Hall is a form of concern for HIV and AIDS issues.

“This success is an honor as well as a responsibility that must be assumed for the coming year. In order to create a healthier society, free from discrimination and new infections and prevent the growing number of deaths of people living with HIV / AIDS, we we will strive to bring about the integration of these activities, “said Raden Rama Widya in Sleman on Thursday (13/10).

Rama said that before he was declared the winner, he had carried out the Let’s Recover (Markipul) program from the HIV / AIDS epidemic. It turned out that the program received a positive response. The evidence is that many participants consulted to find HIV / AIDS information from definition, prevention to treatment.

In addition, during the event attendees also had the opportunity to take part in a support session on delivery and free haircuts with the ‘Markipul’ theme.

The aim of Markipul 2022 is to become a means for office workers of productive age, students and parents, as well as people with disabilities to learn about HIV and AIDS and their treatment. (Ria)
