Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: There will be holiday in these 7 states including UP on 22 January

New Delhi. Many states including Uttar Pradesh have declared a holiday on the occasion of the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Ram temple. Besides, the Central Government has also declared a half-day holiday in central offices. According to the Central Government, the decision of leave has been taken after the huge demand of the employees. According to the notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, there will be a holiday till 2.30 pm in all central government offices, central institutions and industrial establishments across the country.

Holiday on 22 January in these states

Uttar Pradesh- In view of the Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya, all educational holidays will remain closed in Uttar Pradesh on 22 January. Besides, liquor shops will also remain closed in the entire state.

Madhya Pradesh- There will be a half-day holiday in all government offices of Madhya Pradesh on 22 January. Also, there will be holiday in schools and colleges. A government notification states that the entire country will celebrate the Pran Pratistha ceremony on January 22 and all the offices and institutions of the state government will remain closed till 2.30 pm so that people can participate in the ceremony.

Chhattisgarh- There will be a holiday in schools and colleges of Chhattisgarh on 22 January. Also, there will be a half-day holiday in government offices. All government offices will remain closed till 2:30 pm.

Haryana- Haryana government has also announced to keep schools and colleges closed on January 22 in view of the consecration of Ram temple.

Goa- Goa government has also declared holiday in all government offices and schools on 22 January.

Rajasthan- Rajasthan government has also announced half-day holiday on 22 January. According to the order issued by the General Administration Department, all government offices will remain closed till 2 pm on January 22. Meat shops will also remain closed on this day in the state.

Uttarakhand- The Uttarakhand government has also declared a half-day holiday in government offices on January 22. Government offices will remain closed till 2.30 pm. Schools and colleges will remain closed.
