The RAM brand under the umbrella of the Stellantis concern has officially confirmed that their first all-electric pickup truck will be called the RAM 1500 REV. The information that the car could be named exactly like this came out at the end of last year – it was recorded that the car manufacturer had registered such a trademark.
Neither RAM nor Stellantis have yet provided more information about the upcoming model, only stating that this car will enter serial production in 2024. True, it is noted that more information will be provided during the Super Bowl, the grand finale of American football, on February 12. Since the Super Bowl is celebrated with extremely expensive advertising time and companies always make special efforts to prepare the most exciting, interesting advertisement for this event, we can expect the first official information about this car in the form of an advertisement.
“As a company, we started a revolution last year and began our electrification journey, inviting our customers as well. We invited customers to express their opinion on what exactly they want and expect from an electric pickup,” says Maiks Kovals, chairman of the RAM board. “We look forward to offering these customers the RAM 1500 REV. We are confident that the new model will outperform the competition by combining the best performance with the things that are really important to our customers – range, payload and charging speed.”
The information provided so far shows that this model will debut with a modern 800V battery system, two electric motors and all-wheel drive, as well as a maximum charging power of 350kW. There are no official figures on battery capacity and power yet, just rumours.
