RALLYE AICHA DES GAZELLES: The return of the Côte-d’Oriennes

After nine days spent in the heart of the Moroccan desert, the Kat’Roses des sables and the Fa-Na of the desert crossed the finish line this weekend full of emotions, honking and with good rankings.
-The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc is the only 100% female off-road Rallye-Raid in the world. Unique in its kind and since 1990, it brings together women aged 18 to 71 and of different nationalities every year in the Moroccan desert. Since its creation, the Rallye has developed another vision of motor racing: no speed, no GPS but old-fashioned navigation, only off-track. The Rallye celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.

Two crews from Côte-d’Or

Among the crews of Côte-d’Or, and followed by Info-Dijon, there were the Fa-Na of the Desert. The crew 117 of Fabienne Labussière and Nadine Zunigo from Lusigne on Ouche and Nesle and Massoult on a 4X4 Isuzu D-Max, and the crew 221, the Kat’Rose des Sables of Katia Perrotin-Enciso and Roselyne Nivois from Magny Saint Médard aboard a Nissan Navara 4X4. But more boring, the Kat’Rose out of classification resumed the rally without knowing whether or not the organization was going to reinstate them in the classification. (Read HERE)
