Raków Częstochowa started this match with a debutant in the squad, we saw 19-year-old Tomasz Walczak in attack. However, it was Ivi Lopez’s performance from the first minute that was the most important element in the hosts’ lineup.
The Spaniard’s return had a very positive impact on Raków’s game, from the first minutes of the match against Puszcza. The guests, known for often “walling” their own goal in matches against stronger rivals, could not cope with the active leader of the Częstochowa team, although Puszcza was the first to seriously threaten the goal guarded by Kacper Trelowski.

After Amori’s shot from outside the penalty area, the ball was deflected in front of Puszcza’s goalkeeper. Ivi Lopez got the ball and passed it to Jean Carlos, who had no problem scoring the first goal in the match.
In the 38th minute, Ivi Lopez reminded the fans how great he was at taking free kicks. He made a fantastic shot from the left side of the pitch and the visiting goalkeeper had no chance. Raków Częstochowa was leading 2-0 and was on its way to winning its second victory this season at Limanowskiego.
The beginning of the second half was an ambitious game by Puszcza, but their attacks were well blocked by Raków’s defense. Our team’s performance could have been enjoyable, but the result was not increased. Coach Marek Papszun’s players took a two-goal lead until the end without any problems, winning a well-deserved victory.
After this win, Raków Częstochowa already has 20 points. The next match “red and blue” will play on Saturday (05/10), away against Radomiak Radom.
