The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) has suspended trading of shares or suspended the shares of PT Rukun Raharja Tbk owned by Happy Hapsoro, the husband of the Chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani.
Issuers whose shares are traded under the code RAJA it experienced a very significant price increase reaching 144.22% in a month.
Or if withdrawn in a longer span of 3 months, Raja’s shares, which are now at Rp 845, have increased by 347.09%.

“In connection with the significant increase in the cumulative price of PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) shares, reads the announcement on the IDX’s official website, Friday (22/7/2022).
As for the temporary suspension of stock trading RAJA What the IDX does is take place in the Regular Market and Cash Market, with the aim of giving market participants time to make the right investment decisions.
“For the sake of cooling down, PT Bursa Efek Indonesia deems it necessary to temporarily suspend the trading of shares of PT Rukun Raharja Tbk. (RAJA), on trading on July 22, 2022,” according to the announcement.
Be aware, RAJA recently announced the company’s decision to distribute dividends of Rp 29.5 billion or equivalent to Rp 6.98 per share.
