Libreville, Wednesday November 15, 2023 (Infos Gabon) – All state entities are now subject to respecting this republican ritual.
The ceremony of raising the colors and playing the national anthem will no longer be the sole affair of schools. The public administration is now subject to this obligation, in accordance with a press release from the Transition Committee for the Restoration of Institutions (CTRI) made public yesterday.
“In order to consolidate the national unity of institutions, this ceremony will be held every Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and will be accompanied by the singing of the national anthem La Concorde. In addition, the descent of the colors will be held every Friday, at the end of the working day, to mark the end of the administrative week,” indicated Lieutenant-Colonel Ulrich Manfoumbi Manfoumbi, spokesperson for the CTRI.
Clearly, the raising of the colors and the playing of the national anthem become a matter for all Gabonese people without exclusion.
