Dengue fever is a disease that is transmitted by mosquito, which is caused by one of the four dengue viruses. DHF can be transmitted through the bite of an Aedes mosquito infected with the dengue virus.
Symptoms of DHF usually begin 4-6 days after infection and last up to 10 days. Some of the symptoms are similar to those of COVID-19, including sudden high fever, severe headache, severe joint and muscle pain, and fatigue.
