On the other hand, cold front 5 will extend over the northern border of Mexico, in interaction with the subtropical jet stream, it will cause strong winds with dust devils in the northwest and north of the country; in addition to rains and showers in Chihuahua and Durango. Likewise, the cold air mass associated with the front will gradually enter the North Table, causing a drop in temperature.
According to the statement from the agency dependent on the National Water Commission (Conagua), a low pressure channel over the west of the Mexican Republic, combined with the entry of humidity from the Pacific Ocean, will produce showers and heavy rains in said region.
