At least Two trucks were stranded after the damage caused by the accumulation of water, which according to neighbors is attributed to a poor construction of a company installed in that sector on Matamoros and Santa Teresa streets.
“We are literally trapped on this street, Santa Teresa de Jesús and Matamoros. The problem is concentrated within the neighborhood, which is why we are asking for the support of the authorities. It always floods when it rains,” said Laura Rodríguez.

Likewise, Civil Protection personnel, through the voice of the operational director Miguel Ledezma, indicated that together with Public Services personnel, work began desilting of the sector to free up drainage and eliminate significant puddles.
“Due to the rains this morning near the former Hacienda San Francisco neighborhood, severe flooding was recorded on Matamoros Street, which is the boundary of the neighborhood. Therefore, our personnel along with Public Services are on site.
“First, we are clearing the storm drain to eliminate the flooding, and then we are cleaning the entire conduit to prevent another similar situation. We are also carrying out a review of the area to see if there is any debris that has been carried away into the drainage area, and we hope to resolve this situation in the course of the morning,” said Miguel Ledezma, operating director of PC Apodaca.
