During this weekend and until Tuesday the 22nd, rains and electrical storms are expected in a large part of the national territory, according to the early warning forecasts of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inamhi).

The intense episodes of rains and storms, which have occurred since yesterday Friday the 18th and are expected even on Saturday and Sunday, will occur especially in the Coast and the Amazon.

In the coastal region, the rains will be generalized, presenting the most intense episodes in the interior zone.

In the Interandean region, rainfall will have variable intensity along the alley with occasional episodes of heavy rain.

In the Amazon, the rains will develop throughout the entire region and will be very frequent during the next four days.

In the Insular region, scattered rainfall is expected with possible occasional episodes of moderate intensity.
