Gameplay Rainbow Six Siege: Ubisoft presents the gameplay of Sam Fisher and Operation Shadow Legacy

Sam Fisher is coming out of retirement to join the ranks of Rainbow Six Siege Agents. Here called “Zero”, the hero of the Splinter Cell saga is featured in Operation Shadow Legacy.
Presented as an assailant of medium speed and protection, Sam “Zero” Fisher is equipped with a new gadget (Argus launcher) allowing to launch two-way drilling cameras. These can pierce walls (reinforced or not) and windows, stick to any surface, and inflict damage on defenders or destroy gadgets with a laser charge. On the weapons side, Agent Zero can use an SC3000K assault rifle, a Karambit knife, the MP7 and the 5.7 USG equipped with a silencer.
This video also introduces the 2.0 ping system. “Each player will be assigned a numbered ping for each match to help you know who is reporting what. You can ping from a camera or drone and the pings will provide contextual information when you designate gadgets, defuser and diverter. ‘other objects of interest “, we are told.

Operation Shadow Legacy lands on test servers today PC of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, pending its deployment on official servers in the coming weeks. Note that the game will be playable for free from August 27 to September 4, with access to all maps, all game modes and 20 historical agents.
