Spring is in full swing but winter hasn’t gone anywhere yet. Last night a winter system began to enter our area, which is expected to bring with it rain that will fall in the north of the country as well as in the center. There is a fear of floods in the affected areas, and it is expected to snow on the summit of Mount Hermon.
Meteo-Tech forecaster, Lior Soderi, says that relatively cold air from Eastern Europe is making its way towards the Eastern Mediterranean, and will cause rainy weather at the end of the week and at the beginning of next week, especially in the north of the country. There is even a chance of local flooding, hail, and snow at the summit of Mount Hermon. A deepening trough over the eastern Mediterranean will bring cooler than normal weather, with rain.
