Dakar, August 13 (APS) – The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) announces rains and thunderstorms of varying intensity over most of the Senegalese territory over the next twenty-four, even forty-eight hours.
“ During the next twenty-four or even forty-eight hours, rains and thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected in places over most of the Senegalese territory, ” say the weather forecasters in a bulletin reached the APS.
Rain-storm activities ” will be limited to the south and central-south regions, with some risks in the north-eastern localities ”, from Friday evening to the day of Saturday.
“A slight drop in temperatures will be noted over the next seventy-two hours over almost the entire country”, with “generally good” visibilities and winds of “low or moderate” intensity.
According to ANACIM, the expected rains “could become quite heavy in places, in certain localities in the south and center-west of the Senegalese territory”.
“ The heat will be less felt throughout the country, with maximum temperatures varying between 30 ° C in Cap-Skirring (south) and 37 ° C in Podor (north), ” says the meteorological agency.
