Rain-Flooding Alert: 9 Departments Affected, Including Neuville-sous-Montreuil (Pas-de-Calais)

In his last newsletter, published Monday January 1, Météo-France placed nine departments on orange alert for rain-flooding on Tuesday. Manche, Orne, Mayenne and Sarthe, Loire-Atlantique and Vendée are affected by the alert from the meteorological agency, as well as Pas-de-Calais, Finistère and Morbihan, already on orange alert on Monday. Fifty-five departments are also on yellow alert.

In France the year begins with overcast and rainy weather in the morning from the South-West to the Massif Central and the North-East. In the afternoon, the precipitation shifted to the eastern side of the country.
