Rain and Thunderstorms Expected Tonight as Temperatures Drop Overnight

Friday has been a fairly warm day with temperatures reaching 88 degrees by mid-afternoon, but things will change overnight, according to the forecast.

The collision of a cold front with a much warmer air mass generates instability. And that is what is quite likely to happen this Friday night.

So the rain will return after a spell of dry weather. Between 8 and 9 pm there could be scattered showers and an occasional isolated thunderstorm.

So take forecasts if you plan to go out tonight, and be prepared because the temperatures will drop at dawn.
