Already in May, the singer’s Mārtiņš Kanter’s album “Painting” will be released, which will include new songs created in collaboration with composer Raimonds Pauls.
The first forerunner of the new album is the title song “Painting”, which was recorded by the Saulkrasti choir “Anima” (artistic director and conductor Laura Leontjeva), but the piano part was recorded by Maestro himself. The author of the lyrics of the song is Guntars Račs.
The song is also a video clip directed by Ieva Biteniece. Mārtiņš Kanters thanks the Cēsis Museum of History and Art for the premises of the new castle of Cēsis that are so suitable for the clip. It should be reminded that Mārtiņš’s previous album “Peppermint Tea”, which was also recorded in collaboration with Paul, was released in 2019 and was nominated for “Golden Microphone”.
