September 26 at 16.00 Maestro Raimonds Pauls and colorful Kurzeme woman, singer Ance Krauze will visit Ventspils, concert hall “Latvija” with the concert program “Sasala Jūrīna”.
Together with Maestro and Anci Krauzis, the young violinist Elza Siliņa and a group of musicians led by Raimonds Macata will also take to the concert hall stage.
The first part of the program “Sasala jurina” will feature melodies from the performances “Cabiret Nights” and “Marlene”. In the second part, Latvian folk songs arranged by Raimonds Pauls will be played, including eight arrangements of folk songs from Alsunga region, created specifically for Ance Krauze.
“Folk songs, which I sing here with the unique view of Raimonds Pauls, are a new way to get to know the garamants of my people. No matter in which region the narrator lived, no matter when and by whom the songs were written, they are our common heritage. I feel proud and honored that the folk songs of my native region were chosen by Raimonds Pauls for their decoration, ”said Ance Krauze.
At the end of the concert, the listeners will hear “golden fund” songs from the beginnings of the collaboration between Raimonds Pauls and Ances Krauze.
The measure is intended only for vaccinated or Covid-19 infected persons (also applies to children / adolescents of all ages). Upon arrival at the concert, the visitor must present an interoperable Covid-19 certificate, an identity document and a personalized entrance ticket.
