TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM, MAKASSAR – Raim Laode appeared stunning in front of thousands of spectators on the second day of Emotional Fest at Phinisi Point (PiPo), Jl Tanjung Bunga, Makassar, Saturday (25/2/2023) evening.
The singer with full name La Ode Raimudin performed several of his hits.
One of them is Komang, a song that has recently gone viral on various social media.
“I want to introduce myself, my name is Raim Laode. I am an artist,” said Raim, who is also a Komika.
The singer from Wakatobi admitted that he was happy to be able to appear at Emotional Fest.
At the end of his performance, Raim leaked that he would be releasing a new song in April.
“It’s great to be able to perform at Emotional Fest. I have a new song in April, better than Komang,” he said.
Previously, on the first day, Friday (24/2/2023), the bands Last Child to Stereo Wall x Boniex also successfully entertained Mindset Organizer’s Emotional Fest visitors.
Mindset Organizer Director, Chandra Mindset, said that there were several reasons for inviting the singer.
Apart from having a lot of fans, also because the singer is on the rise.
“Actually, Raim Laode is Mister Guest, we contacted him a week before the event. And it just so happened that I got to know him, so he cleared his schedule for this Emotional Fest,” said Chandra.
Chandra admitted that at this event, it was not just a concert and listening to his favorite musicians or bands.
But it can also make the audience who come bring more positive ’emotions’ about the music event.
“This Emotional Fest prioritizes bands from South Sulawesi. Because this is a way for the audience to bond emotionally with them, so they love domestic music and works,” he explained.
