After the strike of 5 October, the railway unions filed a new strike notice. Specifically, they threaten action from Nov. 28, 10:00 p.m. to Nov. 29, 10:00 p.m.
The unions denounce the lack of investment in NMBS and Infrabel. They find the investment proposals now on the table “inadequate to be able to offer a complete service to travellers”. “For example, there are still too many barriers for people with disabilities to use the train in a normal way,” says Günther Blauwens of the socialist trade union ACOD.
