Disruptions in train operation are expected as the National Railroad Labor Union enters into a law-abiding struggle from today (8th) to the 15th.

The railroad union announced that it would fight for compliance with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to condemn the privatization of the railroad split and SR unfair preferential treatment.

The trains that will be suspended during this compliance struggle are 4 Mugunghwa trains (2 each on the Gyeongbu and Janghang lines).

Some electric trains in the metropolitan area and Donghae may also be delayed.

KORAIL’s policy is to minimize passenger inconvenience by operating an emergency transport countermeasures headquarters to urgently deploy available personnel and deploy additional station guidance personnel.

KORAIL requested that you check the railway operation status in advance through the website or mobile app.

Ticket cancellation and change fees are waived during the union’s compliance struggle.
