Due to a collision at the Bovenlangs level crossing in Loon, no trains were running between Assen and Groningen on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened around 10am. The NS reports that trains between Assen and Groningen will run according to the 4pm timetable. Until then, the stop buses went to Groningen, Groningen Europapark, Haren and Assen.
Due to signal and point failures, there were no trains running between Zuidhorn and Buitenpost and between Delfzijl and Stedum for a while on Wednesday.
