Rail Network Disrupted in Centre-Val de Loire Due to Driving Agents Strike

The strike continues among driving agents, announces Remi Centre-Val de Loire, thus disrupting, as in previous days, the rail network.

Due to a local social movement by driving agents, the circulation of Remi trains will be disrupted in the Centre-Val de Loire region, Monday December 18.

A renewable strike

The agents are mobilized to oppose a reorganization at Austerlitz station, which forces drivers of the regional line to carry out an additional maneuver to park the train at Tolbiac; which was previously carried out by a shunting agent from the Paris station.

The strike notice, filed by CGT Cheminots, CFDT Cheminots and SUD Rail, is renewable until February 8, 2024, with “highlights” planned every Monday and Friday.

Several areas concerned

The following axes are concerned: Tours – Orléans; Tours – Vierzon – Bourges – Nevers; Tours – Loches; Tours – Saumur – Nantes; Tours – Vendôme – Châteaudun – Paris Austerlitz; Orléans – Vierzon – Argenton-sur-Creuse (Limoges); Vierzon – Bourges – Montluçon; Orléans – Toury – Etampes (Paris Austerlitz); Paris Austerlitz – Les Aubrais – Tours; Paris Austerlitz – Bourges (Montluçon); Orléans – Vierzon – Bourges (Nevers).

Detailed timetables with disruptions for each line are available on the SNCF website.
