Raiffeisenbank is offering a CZK 3,000 reward for trying out an account

To all new customers who open a business from January 2nd Raiffeisen Bank any personal checking account, the bank will send 500 kroner for six months. It is enough to pay at least three times a month with a debit or credit card.

The new action is one of the most interesting on the market with respect to the bonuses with which bank have come in recent years – in terms of the amount of the award and the conditions for obtaining it. Even the detailed rules do not contain hooks that would unpleasantly surprise interested parties.

You can open an account online (or in person at a branch), the basic variant called Smart Account is free and without obligations. The prize will be awarded to a new customer who is at least 18 years old and has not had any other account in the last six months Raiffeisen Bank. The condition of at least three card payments is easily met – virtually any payment of any amount is counted. They can therefore be payments at the terminal of a shop (“physical shop”) or on the Internet, by debit or credit card…

Just make sure that the payments are also posted in the relevant calendar month, i.e. that the bank actually cancels them from the account (not just blocks them). Therefore, it is not a good idea to leave the fulfillment of the condition until the end of the month. Posting usually takes two to three days – if you want to avoid running into a slower merchant, it’s best to make multiple payments on time with different merchants.

If the conditions for a calendar month are met – at least three card payments are registered – then the bank will credit the account with a premium of 500 kroner by the 15th of the following month. The customer can receive a maximum of 3,000 crowns if he fulfills the condition in each of the consecutive six months.

It is called the basic version of the Raiffeisenbank account Smart account – there is no lump-sum account maintenance fee, debit card charge or other basic services. All withdrawals from all ATMs in the Czech Republic and abroad are free (this does not exclude any fee from the ATM operator abroad) and all non-cash domestic transfers and SEPA payments (transfers of euros in EU countries and some other European countries).

A better option – Active account – goes up to 49 crowns a month. Compared to the Smart account, it offers an additional debit card (therefore two in total), a credit card is also included in the price. The multi-currency feature allows you to hold an account in up to 18 different currencies at the same time, which can reduce foreign exchange losses. The flat rate also includes one incoming or outgoing foreign payment per month outside the scope of SEPA payments, i.e. typically a transfer of a currency other than the euro or elsewhere than in the European Economic Area.

The event also applies to the best account variants at Raiffeisenbank with the names Premium and Exclusive. Students between the ages of 18 and 26 will also receive a reward in their student account.

One of the most significant rewards for new customers is still offered by the Skip Pay service, supported by ČSOB: people who open a verified Plus account with Skip Pay will receive as part of a marketing campaign up to 1500 crowns for the first purchase practically everywherethey can get another 1,000 crowns when they continue to use the card.

Among the most generous in the long run is the bonus from Coins: for trying it Tom Plus account give away 1000 kroner as a one-time gift – it is sufficient to pay a total of at least 1000 kroner by card by the end of the month following the opening of the account.

UniCredit Bank it currently offers new customers a three percent refund of card payments for a period of one year (a maximum of CZK 500 per month, or CZK 6,000 per year) and twelve free tickets to the CineStar multi-cinema network.
